A little story of a restoration piece that goes a long way.
Wood Restoration
Sometime ago we managed to get hold of this classic antique chaise lounge. It stayed in our storage for quite sometime, until its time came to be restored and refurbished and given a new well desired life.
First step was to restore the hand carved wooden frame, sand it down, clean it, start applying the undercoat, finishing coats and varnish.
Second step was to choose an elegant material for the upholstery and prepare the elastic straps for the seating
Upholstery
The design for this day bed was kept original that is deep buttoned, making it suitable as a centre piece in a bedroom or any other seating areas
